    Travis is an experienced director with a demonstrated history of working in the government relations industry. Skilled in Coaching, Sales, Sales Management, Strategic Partnerships, and International Trade. Apart from the alliance, he is also in the secretariat for the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA).  This association is is the peak body for Australia's containerised exporters, designated under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and by the Federal Minister of the day.

  • Apurva Chiranewala
    VP - Strategy & Partnerships , Sendle

    Apurva is passionate about solving real world problems and is an advisor and angel investor in several technology, logistics and e-commerce start-ups in parts of Asia and the Silicon Valley. He has over 12 years’ experience in heading key businesses and strategic functions for some of the largest and fastest growing global businesses including –, Catch Group, Tesco, Ebay Inc – where he was heading Shipping for eBay ANZ.

    In his new role as Head of Partnerships and Growth at Sendle – he is building Australia’s most economical, carbon neutral, and customer centric shipping business that is focused on providing an edge to Australian SMEs.

  • Andrew Gaythorpe
    Head of Channel Supply Chain, Australia Post

    Andrew is a senior retail specialist, with over 25 years in the retail industry (across Tier 1 consulting firms and retailers) in ANZ, Asia and Europe.

    This experience is across department store, supermarket, convenience store, and telecommunications retail and discount department stores.

    He has strong experience in formulation of strategic/business plans, business transformation initiatives, business process design, and shareholder value analysis.He also has deep experience across the functional areas of business/store operations, financial and merchandise planning, demand planning, inventory management, replenishment, space management, and supply chain.

    He has experience in understanding the technology enablers required to add business value – including IT strategic frameworks, system selection, business requirements definition and implementation (has worked on several ERP implementations).

    Andrew has also managed retail consulting operations, and has deep experience in the management and leadership of teams across both industry and consulting roles. He has lead teams centrally and remotely (up to 5 countries).

  • Adrian Pidgeon
    Retail Logistics Manager , Ikea

    Adrian has been with IKEA for 19 years – he started when he left school at 16 in England. He continued to study and finished a university degree in Wales. All this time, he was still working for IKEA part time. Once he finished university, he worked in expansion projects and at his home store and across the UK with the company. He got the opportunity in 2004 to move to Australia as a warehouse manager. From there, he worked across multiple sites and expansion agendas to the current role where he looks after the total Retail Logistics operation for IKEA Australia.

  • Amrik Sohal
    Director of the Australian Supply Chain Management Research Unit , Monash University

    Amrik is a Professor in the Department of Management, Faculty of Business and Economics at Monash University. He is also the Director of the Australian Supply Chain Management Research Unit.

    He has received research grants from the State and Federal Governments, the Australian Research Council and Monash University. In 2001, Professor Sohal received the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Postgraduate Supervision and in 2004 he received an award for research excellence from the International Association for Management of Technology.

  • Rosita Van Vuuren
    Merchandise Operations Manager/Head of Quality and Sourcing, Best and Less

    Rosita is a business professional who has worked in the Apparel and Footwear Industry for 25 years. From running her own Apparel Manufacturing Company through the 90’s she entered Corporate Business in 2001 in the areas of Operations, Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Sourcing.

    She currently works for Best and Less, an Australian National Discount Retailer, as Merchandising Operations Manager and Heads Sourcing and Quality. Her previous role was as VP of Operations with Bloch International, which she held for 5 years.

    Rosita emigrated from South Africa in 1987 and holds an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business.

  • Kevin P. Worrell

    Kevin is renowned in the field of infrastructure management for his work in the design and execution of complex high-capital value projects.

    Engaged by a raft of industries spanning construction, automotive, IT and Government. Kevin works with his clients to build and lead high-performance teams of expert specialists.

    He’s led projects applauded for new design innovations, including projects with significant investment with real environmental sustainability outcomes. He has a proven ability to generate cost savings, revenue and other performance outcomes through, innovation, negotiation and leading the strategic development and execution of business growth initiatives with capital expenditure.

    Most recently Kevin has led a high-profile five-year design and construction development project for Dulux Paints Australia in collaboration with local and International organisation to design and build the most advanced decorative paint factory in the world. The new 22,000 square-metre, $165 million factory opened at Merrifield Victoria in May 2018 and is capable of producing in excess of 100 million litres per year equal to the hole of the current Australian decorative paint market.
